COVID-19 Update

Visit our BUY-BACK CENTER Monday through Friday, 8 am – 12 pm and 1 pm – 3:30 pm. Accepting newspaper, cardboard, office paper, other types of paper, aluminum cans, and tin scrap metal at this time. No other metal at the Buy-Back Center. Please call us for updates. COVID POLICY: If you’re vaccinated, masks are not required. If you’re not vaccinated, masks are optional. If someone does not have a mask, we can provide a disposable mask for that person.

For more than 25 years, Texas Recycling has been a leader in commercial paper recycling in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Whether the customer is a commercial printer, a paper converter, a printing trade shop, a corporate billing center, a paper distribution warehouse or another paper-industry related service, Texas Recycling can customize a recycling program to service its needs and increase revenue. If your office or facility generates sufficient volumes of office paper, you may qualify for a commercial and industrial recycling pick-up program. Smaller companies and individuals can bring their discarded office paper to our clean and efficient Buy-Back Center for extra cash.

Improper Disposal at the Recycling Center: Aspirational Recycling

If only the average American could be a fly on the wall when recycling center employees sift through literally tons of the recycled materials processed every day. If they could, maybe they would see for themselves the many consumer recycling mistakes that take place. They may also see why experts say not everything is recyclable and that it is better to do your research before tossing oddball items into the same recycling bin. The Environmental Protection Agency’s most recent statistics show that Americans produced 292.4 million tons of municipal solid waste in 2018 alone, or 4.9 pounds per person per day. And while the EPA estimates that most of those items are recyclable, there is plenty of aspirational recycling going on.
