Happy Anniversary to Texas Recycling!

In September 1992, Texas Recycling opened with two generations of Litmans—father Stan and sons Joel and Craig. The Litmans sat in an empty 30,000 square foot warehouse in northwest Dallas. They worked from a card table, folding chairs and a “brick” mobile phone, which represented the front office. Nothing had been collected for recycling, yet.

In September 2017, Texas Recycling and its affiliate document destruction company, Action Shred of Texas, boasted more than 65 employees—including Joel and Craig Litman, and Joel’s daughter Hillary—and collected tons (literally) of paper and metal from customers throughout Texas and the Southwest.
The recyclables are shipped worldwide from the company’s new home with more than 175,000 square feet near Fair Park in Dallas., Texas.

As we celebrate our anniversary, we are also reminded of the many valued relationships that have made the last 3 decades a success. Texas Recycling would like to take the time to let you know how thankful we are for your business and your partnership. Happy anniversary to everyone who has helped our company grow, succeed and move past the “brick” mobile phones! – Craig and Joel Litman
